The industrial development is over 320,000 square feet in size and is capable of housing a variety of businesses across industries. The newly developed space creates opportunities for both existing businesses in the Houston area and for attracting new businesses to the city.
“Sugar Land’s industrial vacancy rate continues to remain low, which shows a continued demand for new industrial spaces within the city,” states Director of Economic Development Elizabeth Huff. “The Office of Economic Development continues to support the development of these new spaces.” The Sugar Land Business Park ensures Sugar Land continues to have a strong economy, job opportunities for residents, and one of the lowest tax rates in the state when compared to similarly sized cities.
