Sugar Land Town Square
In 2003, Planned Community Developers and the City of Sugar Land collaborated on one of the boldest and most successful public-private partnerships in the country, resulting in the creation of Sugar Land Town Square. Located in the geographic center of the city, this vibrant 32-acre mixed-use development serves as the beating heart of Sugar Land, where residents and visitors come to work, live, shop, dine, and gather. Anchored by the 82,000-square-foot Sugar Land City Hall, the district also features the headquarters of SouthWest Water Company, several Class A office tenants, a 300-room full-service Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, and stylish mid-rise residential condos.
Sugar Land Town Square is undergoing enhancements in partnership with Rebees and Lionstone to transform the district into a premier Class A office destination. With 1.4 million square feet of mixed-use space, including 566,000 square feet of office space, 252,000 square feet of Main Street retail and restaurants, and a 1.4-acre pedestrian plaza, Town Square continues to be an iconic destination. These upgrades aim to elevate the development’s reputation as a hub for business, culture, and community in Sugar Land.
