Details

The Lake Pointe Redevelopment District represents one of Sugar Land’s largest and most promising redevelopment efforts. Encompassing roughly 70 acres within the Lake Pointe Regional Activity Center, the area is anchored by the former 52-acre Fluor campus, vacated in July 2024. Following a custom zoning adoption in December 2023 and a 53-acre concept plan approval in May 2025, the City has set the stage for a new residential district known as Lake Pointe Green—a walkable, modern community blending residential, civic, and recreational uses.

Led by the Lovett Group, a Houston-based developer known for high-impact mixed-use projects, Lake Pointe Green will transform this legacy corporate campus into a vibrant, connected destination. City-led investments—including demolition, infrastructure, and park development—will support the creation of a pedestrian-friendly environment designed for long-term growth and high-quality urban living.
