Sugar Land Town Square is a 32-acre downtown anchor that blends civic, commercial, residential, and entertainment uses around a signature plaza. Since opening in 2003 through the City’s first public-private partnership, it has served as the cultural and economic heart of Sugar Land.

In May 2025, the City approved a $12.5 million reinvestment to modernize Town Square and support its continued evolution as a premier destination. Funded through SLDC and SL4B, the initiative includes major upgrades to Buildings B and H, new communal office spaces, refreshed landscaping and streetscapes, and district-wide tenant improvements.

Led in partnership with Rebees, these enhancements are part of a broader repositioning strategy that will keep Town Square competitive, vibrant, and community-centered—ensuring it remains a model for redevelopment and downtown living.

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with the City of Sugar Land as we launch this new chapter for Town Square,” said Tom Paterson, Managing Partner at Rebees. “These improvements are essential to keeping Town Square competitive in a changing market, while preserving the character and energy that make it a beloved destination. This kind of long-term collaboration is exactly what makes Sugar Land such a great place to invest.”
