The office retention incentive program provides $6,000 per job for qualified businesses to retain regional and national office headquarters in Sugar Land.
To qualify for the incentive program:
Office headquarters must retain at least 50 primary jobs
Have an existing regional or national office headquarter lease within the City Limits
Office headquarters must renew the existing lease for five to ten years within the city limits.
Expense a minimum of $1 million capital investment to be allocated toward build out or office improvements.

The City of Sugar Land's Office of Economic Development administers the retention incentive program. Applications are processed directly through the Economic Development staff.
