Success Story

Restauranteurs Victor Litwinenko and Robert White

A Dynamic Partnership

Robert White and Victor Litwinenko’s restaurant journey began in Sugar Land in 2002 with the introduction of Sasu, a sushi restaurant located in the New Territory subdivision. As the popularity of their business grew, the duo realized they needed more space and a better restaurant location. In 2003 they opened Japaneiro’s Sushi Bistro & Latin Grill- a Latin Asian fusion restaurant in Sugar Land Town Square.

Unique Eats in Sugar Land

White and Litwinenko’s success is due in part to their unique fusion restaurant concepts all located in Sugar Land Town Square. Japaneiro’s was just the beginning of White and Litwinenko’s story in Sugar Land. In 2011 they opened Guru Burgers and Crepes (now named Guru Burgers and Enlightened Bowls) serving delicious burgers and other locally sourced dishes. Soon after, they opened Jupiter Pizza and Waffle Company which serves unique comfort food, brunch and authentic pizza dishes. In 2019 the restaurant partners were awarded the Leadership and Legacy Award by the Sugar Land Legacy Foundation as a tribute to their substantial impact on the Sugar Land business community. White and Litwinenko continue to push the envelope in the Sugar Land restaurant scene with their exciting flare for creating unique fusion cuisine. What will they come up with next?
