The University of Houston Sugar Land

The University of Houston Sugar Land (UHSL) is part of the University of Houston system and came about through countless partnerships to bring higher education to the Fort Bend County area.   

As a Tier One higher education facility, UHSL offers over 21 undergraduate and graduate programs , including Digital Media, Nursing, Biotechnology, Construction Management, Retailing, Consumer Science, and Executive Human Resources Development. The College of Technology, completed in 2019, features cutting-edge classrooms, research labs, a greenhouse area, and multimedia laboratories.

Progress continues on a second technology building at UHSL, expanding opportunities for students and strengthening the region's workforce. UHSL fosters strong regional business partnerships by aligning academic programs with industry needs, actively pursuing collaborations that enhance both the academic and research missions of the University of Houston. Through these partnerships, UHSL is dedicated to advancing career opportunities and supporting the local economy.
